MEET JENNA

“Everything in moderation” were the words I grew up hearing. Although true, everyone’s body requires different nutrients and minerals. That’s where I come in…

Hi, I’m Jenna. I am an innovative, enthusiastic and creative individual with a passion for helping others become the healthiest version of themselves. I truly believe that holistic health should be each and every one of our main goals. Whilst completing my Honours degree in Dietetics at the University of Pretoria, I completed my Internship in Community Nutrition Therapy at Laudium Community Health Centre, Foodservice Systems Training at Edenvale Hospital and Clinical Nutrition Therapy at Steve Biko Academic Hospital. I went on to complete my community service year at Tambo Memorial Hospital. I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and a member of the Association for Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA).

About Me 1

It was during my experience in the medical, surgical and paediatric wards that I developed my love for treating co-morbidities (medical conditions) through therapeutic nutrition. Unfortunately, I far too often see patients for treatment purposes rather than preventative measures. I strongly feel that a change in our perceptions and mindsets is required in order to realise the need to focus on preventing ailments before they begin impairing our quality of life.

Each of my patients can be assured that they will receive individualised, practical and scientific dietetic services that are founded upon medical experience and research-based knowledge.

Your relationship with food should not be focused solely on ‘teaspoon and centimetre’ measurements.  I aim to provide sustainable dietary solutions that are designed to easily integrate into your everyday.

My main objective? YOUR HEALTH!

I look forward to being a part of your nutrition journey.
